If you want to make it sync with Google Caldendar by scheduleworld, you need a wap/internet connection on the phone like GPRS or 3G.
I've made a tutorial on how to set up scheduleworld here: http://www.tech-tag.com/2006/06/28/how-to-easily-sync-outlook-calendar-with-an-ordinary-cell-phone/

But it does not cover the issue on how to setup the phone. I have not tried setting up a 6680, but on my 6610i it is the standard function called Synchronize. This just has to be set up with the Scheduleworld values: server name, username, password and name of calendar and contact. If you check the manual this should be pretty straight forward.

The alternative is to use the tutorial I link to above and setup, Outlook to sync with Scheduleworld and Sechduleworld to Sync with Google Calendar. Then you just install the standard Nokia software to sync with Outlook on your PC.

how do i sync with syncml? if i have scheduleworld set up, how do i sync it with my 6680?
gcalsync doesn't work for me, and companionlink does require outlook installed which i would like to avoid. ical+isync works fine on a mac, but i'd like to sync my phone thru a pc, not my brother's macbook. :)

When you synchronize outlook and gcal with Companionlink you can sync your nokia phone trough nokia pc suite.
If you setup pc suite to sync automaticly when the phone is connect by bluetooth your phone is always be updated when your near your pc
In short you sync gcal and outlook and you sync outlook and your phone
If you schedule by windows taskmanager Companionlink to update every hour your phone and gcal will be well synchronized.

[...] After a failure earlier on, I tried syncing Scheduleworld and Google Calendar yesterday and it finally worked. I was hoping (naive - yes) that this could as a middleman providing Google Calendar with the needed Syncml compatibility. In reality I could only make this work one way, exporting from Google Calendar (why they needed my pasword and username I don’t know), and in order to make the synchronization start I had to log in to Scheduleworld and request it.
