I found another way to sync google with your pc.
It's called GcalDaemon and works (thanks java) under Win/*nix/MacOS

I wanted to sync Google Calendar events with my Mobile 5.0 device wirelessly, without Outlook, without ActiveSync and without putting my Google Account information into a third-party website. When I couldn't find what I wanted, I wrote my own, GMobileSync.

I'm explaining here how I publish my calendar on the web to let people know when I'm free or busy http://michelbenard.com/?p=23 .

I 'd like to subscribe to my online calendar in google calendar, but gcalendar cannot subscribe to a remote calendar if access to that calendar is protected by http authentication (sunbird or iCal can do that). Too bad, syncing phone/ical/gcalendar is just one step away !

[...] Goosync launches a service which provides on-the-air calendar synchronization between Google Calendar and cell phones . When I updated my overview on how to sync Google Calendar, I only knew of Scheduleworld could act as a bridge between Google Calendar and the open standard syncML. [...]
